MINIATURE DURHAM SHORTHORN CATTLE
The selection consists of many generations of Sundance LB breeding!
Steve Langer and Terry Brooks began their journey together in 1988 and a part of that was the beginning of
SUNDANCE LB STOCK FARM.
This union brought a focus to breeding that continues to this date. Steve had plenty of experience in breeding many varieties of animals. Not until SUNDANCE LB STOCK FARM came about was that breeding experience put to use in the form of preservation type breeding.
To preserve the BLOODLINES of various animals to keep the blood pure was the goal and it took several years to bring this to the forefront.
Yes, there is power in the blood and keeping it pure is the key to maintain type, uniformity and disposition to only name a few of the intended results.
Preservation breeding in all we do, brings the focus and allows for our groups of animals to flourish. Maintaining the purity of the blood will allow these animals to prosper for future generations if bred correctly.
Both Steve and Terry are passionate about how they breed and maintain their various breeding groups. They continue to do research and consult with many successful breeders in the industry. Both Steve and Terry would happily entertain conversations and visits to share information about the wonderful animals they have been so fortunate to be the gatekeepers of.
