About Our Llama Program

At Sundance LB Stock Farm, our North American llama program is rooted in decades of experience, passion, and a deep respect for the bloodlines that helped shape the llama industry in the United States. Our herd traces back to some of the early North American imports, carrying forward genetics that have played an important role in the development of modern llama breeding programs.

Llamas have been a part of our story since the early 1970s, and they continue to hold a special place at Sundance today. Through thoughtful, preservation-focused breeding, we strive to maintain the integrity of these bloodlines while producing animals that reflect quality, balance, and strong disposition.

Our approach blends tradition with forward-thinking selection, honoring the foundation animals while carefully improving structure, fiber, and temperament for future generations. With a mix of North American, Argentine, Chilean, and Bolivian influence, our herd represents a diverse yet intentional genetic program designed for long-term sustainability.

Sundance LB Black Rock SA is a Morocco son out of Double K’s She’s a Diva of Establo who is out of Sundance LB Caprice a Captain daughter we bred. Plenty of Topper and Diablo in his background. Black Rock breeds pretty heads and good minds along with great confirmation.

This is the heir apparent to our Flaby’s Captain. Sundance LB Skeeter is a double Captain Grandson and also a double Frisco’s Fancy of Arenosa colt. This tightly bred stallion does the best job at keeping the Kewpie’s Doll Topper blood pure in our breeding program. Small and easy on the eyes, this is one heck of a nice stallion in our line-up.
