Our story

At Sundance LB, everything we do is guided by preservation breeding. Our focus is simple: maintain pure bloodlines while producing animals that reflect consistency, quality, and sound temperament.

We believe there is strength in the bloodline. When managed with care and discipline, it results in animals that are not only true to their type but dependable, balanced, and built to carry forward for generations.

Each breeding group is carefully selected and managed with this long-term vision in mind—never rushed, never compromised.

Experience That Matters

Steve brought decades of hands-on experience breeding a wide variety of animals before Sundance LB was established. Together, Steve and Terry refined that experience into a focused preservation program that continues to evolve today.

Their work is supported by ongoing research, collaboration with respected breeders, and a deep understanding of genetics, structure, and disposition. Every decision is intentional, with the goal of strengthening each line year after year.

The Animals

Sundance LB is home to a curated selection of miniature horses, ponies, and livestock—each bred with purpose and raised with care.

A Hands-On Operation

This is a hands-on program in every sense. Steve and Terry remain deeply involved in the day-to-day care, development, and management of their animals. That level of involvement ensures that each animal reflects the standards Sundance LB is known for.

Our Goal Is To Produce The Finest Quality Individuals

In all of the livestock we breed and have bred over many generations, our goal is to share the knowledge and experience we’ve gained along the way. Our website will continually evolve so that we can offer valuable information to educate, mentor, and encourage other breeders with similar interests. We also hope to assist those who are new to the wonderful world of livestock breeding, giving them the opportunity to learn from our experience. With that said, our website will never be stagnant, but will continue to grow and evolve with the seasons around us.
