Arenosa Legacy
The roots of Sundance LB Stock Farm trace back to the legendary Arenosa Pony Farm, founded in 1941 by Audrey and Clinton Barrett in Victoria, Texas. What began as a way to provide ponies for local children quickly evolved into one of the most influential Shetland breeding programs in the country.

Audrey Barrett was deeply committed to developing ponies with exceptional quality, structure, and movement. Rather than following industry trends, she focused on preserving and strengthening bloodlines through careful, intentional breeding—setting a standard that still defines Arenosa ponies today.
At the heart of the program was the iconic stallion Kewpie Doll’s Oracle, whose influence shaped generations of ponies known for their beauty, athleticism, and consistency. His legacy became the foundation of the Arenosa name and its reputation worldwide.
Arenosa ponies gained national and international recognition, with horses exported across North America and beyond. Even as trends shifted, Audrey remained dedicated to maintaining pure bloodlines—preserving the integrity, type, and uniformity that made Arenosa ponies so respected.
Today, that legacy lives on at Sundance LB Stock Farm, where the same commitment to preservation breeding continues—honoring the past while producing exceptional animals for the future.

Sundance LB Black Rock SA is a Morocco son out of Double K’s She’s a Diva of Establo who is out of Sundance LB Caprice a Captain daughter we bred. Plenty of Topper and Diablo in his background. Black Rock breeds pretty heads and good minds along with great confirmation.

This is the heir apparent to our Flaby’s Captain. Sundance LB Skeeter is a double Captain Grandson and also a double Frisco’s Fancy of Arenosa colt. This tightly bred stallion does the best job at keeping the Kewpie’s Doll Topper blood pure in our breeding program. Small and easy on the eyes, this is one heck of a nice stallion in our line-up.
