Of Sundance LB Stock Farm
As we have mentioned, Llamas have been part of Steve’s life since the early 1970’s.... even taking a Llama to Portland State College to do a presentation for a class on South America. He brought Larry the Llama into his class and had him cush while he talked about these mystical creatures.
We have so many good memories, which include these wonderful animals and neither one of us could imagine our lives without them being part of them.
We have always worked to breed keeping the bloodlines in mind. Many years ago, we had straight Bolivians, straight Chileans, straight Argentines and straight North American. There are not many straight animals left and so here we are working to keep the ingredients (the straight animals) alive and work to see how these blended animals get better and better by breeding smartly to keep the genetic pool viable for the next generation.
Llamas will continue to have our hearts and we hope you too will take the time to get to know these wonderful gentle giants.
